Welcome to your very first step into the world of bounti Rebounding! The bounti Foundation Programme 2.0 has been carefully designed for absolute beginners, taking you from complete newcomer to confident bouncer over a gentle, progressive 4-week journey.

Think of this as your rebounding “ground zero”! We’ll start small, with just 2 minutes per workout, and build steadily to 20 minutes per workout, so by the end of the programme, you’ll have a strong foundation to progress from and enjoy all the amazing benefits this modality offers.

Well, this is a new-and-improved version of the original Foundation Programme, updated to reflect the current style and quality of bounti Rebounding, while still staying true to the essence of what made the first version so special!

Why should you do the Foundation Programme 2.0?

Simply put, this programme is for absolute beginners, but it’s also perfect for a whole range of people, including:

The Foundation Programme is so important because getting the basics right from the jump (pun intended, ha!) is critical for a safe, effective, and enjoyable rebounding journey. You’ll learn the basics that make or break your progress, including:

  • How to stand properly
  • Engaging your core on the rebounder
  • Mastering the technique of the simplest exercises
  • How to bounce correctly
  • How to use our very basic bounti accessories

Doesn’t matter if you’re super fit; if you don’t know the fundamentals of bouncing correctly, you simply won’t reap the full benefits of rebounding! That’s why it’s the FOUNDATION Programme: building a strong foundation is key in any activity, and rebounding is no different.

Our goal with this programme is to make sure you’re comfortable, confident, and capable before you move on to the Beginner’s Programme or even our standalone Beginner FOMO Workouts. Lisa’s guidance throughout is super in-depth and supportive, helping you slowly immerse yourself in the sensations of rebounding.

We follow a gentle, deliberate pace, not the crazy beats of a fast-paced song… Because the focus is on coordination, balance, orientation, form, and safety! Over 4 weeks, you’ll steadily build your confidence, feel more coordinated, and set yourself up for long-term success on your rebounding journey.

What Does This Programme Include?

The programme covers all the basics you need to start your rebounding journey, so you’ll not only feel more confident when you bounce, but you’ll also smash your health and fitness goals in just 4 weeks!

This programme includes an intro video before each week to tell you what to expect. These videos include everything you could possibly need to know, from the workout itself, to what to wear. This is so that you’re as safe and as educated as possible! From there, Lisa teaches you all the basics; from how to stand on your rebounder correctly, as well as all the equipment used and techniques of different moves. More specifically, this programme includes:

  • An introductory welcome video on what to expect from the entire programme as a whole
  • Introductory videos of what to expect during each week
  • Safety guidance, including advice on what to wear, bouncing with the correct footwear, and even the after-effects of rebounding!
  • Technique videos
  • An equipment breakdown
  • Guidance from Lisa as to what you should do after completing the programme

What will I need to do this programme?

To bounce with us and get the most out of this programme, here’s what you’ll need:

  • bounti Rebounder or a JumpSport Rebounder
  • Decent Wi-Fi connection
  • A device on which to stream the workouts (choose a device that has a big enough screen!)
  • A sweat towel
  • A bottle of water; make sure you’re staying hydrated!
  • Earphones, headphones or a high-quality speaker for the best, most immersive sound experience
  • Ensure you’re wearing the correct gear, including high-quality athleisure and the correct footwear (bounti Soles or Socks) for rebounding

How do I access the Foundation Programme 2.0?

This programme is exclusively available within our value-packed Life of bounti Subscription, which means you can access it as many times as you want, whenever you want. The full 4 weeks of content are available immediately, so if your consistency is disrupted by travel, illness, or life in general, you can repeat workouts at your own pace.

All content within this subscription is streamed via our online hosting platform. Although this means that the workouts are not downloadable, you can choose to stream them at any time of the day that suits you! As long as you have decent Wi-Fi connection, you’re good to go.

This subscription also includes every single other bounti Programme we offer, thousands of standalone workouts, bite-sized “Exercise Snacks” (between 1 and 10 minutes long), wellness webinars and so much more… Once you’ve completed the Foundation Programme, there’s unlimited content to explore!

How is this programme structured?

This programme takes you from 2 to 20 minutes progressively, over a 4-week time period, with 7 workouts per week (1 workout per day). As you progress, your workout duration will grow longer, and you’ll add in more equipment as the weeks pass. The intensity of the workouts also increases, with a faster pace and fewer breaks as you go. Feel free to repeat any workouts until you feel comfortable enough to move on to the next phase!

How does this programme differ from the bounti Beginner’s Programme 2.0?

Think of the Foundation Programme 2.0 as your very first step into rebounding, while the Beginner’s Programme is your natural next step once you’ve built up confidence, form, and endurance. The Foundation Programme gently eases you in over 4 weeks, starting with just 2 minutes of bouncing and progressing to 20 minutes by the end. The Beginner’s Programme, on the other hand, is a longer, more challenging journey: 8 weeks that take you from 10 minutes all the way to 60 minutes of rebounding.

Another key difference is the use of support. The Foundation Programme was filmed with the option of using a support bar or handle, giving you extra stability while you learn the ropes and build confidence. The Beginner’s Programme, however, is designed for when you’re ready to bounce without relying on the Support Bar. That’s why it’s so important to master the basics with the Foundation Programme first; it ensures you’re strong, stable, and comfortable enough to progress safely.

If you find the Beginner’s Programme too challenging, don’t be discouraged! It simply means the Foundation Programme is the right place for you to start. Once you’ve nailed the fundamentals, developed proper technique, and feel comfortable with the basics, you’ll be ready to step it up with the Beginner’s Programme and continue your rebounding journey with confidence.

Why Rebounding?

If there’s one exercise modality that can help you build muscle, burn fat (and plenty of calories), as well as get super-fit in one go, it’s rebounding

The truth is, bouncing on a mini-trampoline is one of the quickest ways to build muscle mass, improve overall strength and up your fitness levels in one, single exercise session. This is because the body works twice as hard to defy gravity (as well as the forces of acceleration and deceleration) when bouncing on a mini-trampoline, and this has an impact on every cell, muscle and organ in the body!

In fact, NASA scientists discovered that regular rebounding (for just 10 minutes at a time), requires at least 3 times more effort than jogging or running (and is, therefore, 3 times more effective), but with no negative impact on the joints. We can’t wait for you to start your journey and experience these benefits first-hand!
