Introducing bounti’s ECD Programme; a playful, movement-based Early Childhood Development journey designed specifically for little bodies and rapidly growing brains! ECD stands for Early Childhood Development, and this world-first rebounding programme has been lovingly created for children aged 3 to 6 years old. Through imagination, movement and age-appropriate education, little ones get to bounce, learn and giggle their way toward stronger bodies and sharper minds… All while having the best time!
What makes ECD truly special is that there is nothing else like it anywhere in the world. It’s the first-ever rebounding programme designed specifically around early childhood development principles; blending playful exercise with developmental milestones. This isn’t just “kids' workouts”; it’s carefully thought-out movement that enhances the exact skills children need to be building at this stage of life, laying a solid foundation for school readiness, physical confidence and cognitive development.
Each workout theme has been curated by a qualified Montessori teacher and certified bounti Kids’ instructor to spark curiosity, creativity and full-body learning. Children will move through magical themes like “Bugs”, “Dinosaurs”, “The Sea”, “Fantasy” and more… And within each theme, you’ll either find two workouts (one for 3-year-olds and one for 4-6-year-olds), or one combined session for ages 3-6! Some of the skills supported include:
• Balance, coordination and body awareness
• Core strength and posture
• Fine motor development
• Rhythm, timing and sequencing
• Listening skills and instruction-following
• Imagination, creativity and role-play
• Memory, language and learning
To take this programme even further beyond “exercise time”, it includes a helpful activity guide for parents to follow, so those skills can be reinforced outside of workouts too! Children interact with simple equipment like a soft Pilates ball and rebounder, as well as everyday items like teddy bears, socks, toy animals, and other household treasures, making movement feel familiar and fun.
While rebounding is at the heart of each session, these workouts have been carefully structured to be skills-focused; recognising that little ones can’t maintain attention or continuous movement for long periods. Instead, each session combines short bursts of bouncing with engaging, hands-on activities designed to develop specific skills. For example, children might use a peg to strengthen the fine and gross motor coordination needed for writing.
Drawing inspiration from Montessori principles, these sessions also include sensory play and exploration, encouraging children to experience textures, sounds and sensations. Think sand, mud, or soft toys used as part of movement sequences. Through play-based learning, children naturally build important physical skills such as bouncing with both feet, star jumps, crossing the midline, balance and proprioception (the awareness of where their bodies are in space)!
At bounti, there’s a deep passion for bringing the powerful, lifelong benefits of rebounding to every stage of life, and that absolutely includes the earliest years! Introducing kids to such a gentle, joyful and impactful modality from a young age is something very close to Lisa Raleigh’s heart; especially after seeing first-hand how rebounding has supported her own daughter, Bella’s development (with Bella literally bouncing before she could walk). Bella herself actually makes special appearances in several ECD workouts, alongside our incredible instructor, Meg!

Click here for a word from bounti Kids’ instructor, Meg…
Behind this incredible programme is the brilliant and passionate Meg, a qualified Montessori teacher, dedicated bounti Kids instructor, and someone who truly understands how little bodies and minds grow best! With formal studies in Early Childhood Development and hands-on classroom experience, Meg has spent years bringing learning to life in fun, imaginative and meaningful ways.
Alongside her teaching journey, Meg has also worked closely with families as an au pair, including Lisa’s daughter, Bella, which means she’s had a front-row seat to the magic of childhood development and the benefits of rebounding from infancy to early school years! With Meg leading the way, this programme isn’t just fun; it’s intentional, nurturing, and backed by real early-years expertise. Here’s what she has to say about this incredible programme…
“My journey into Early Childhood Development began while working as an au pair, where I quickly realised how important physical stimulation is for young children! I learned that movement plays a vital role in building both gross and fine motor skills, and that these physical milestones are closely connected to a child’s cognitive growth.
When I was later asked to design an ECD Programme that incorporated rebounding, I drew inspiration from the Montessori philosophy after I qualified as a directress in 2021. I’ve been inspired by who I was as an au pair and who I’ve become as a teacher! I strive to model movement, curiosity, and an active lifestyle. As Maria Montessori once said, I aim to “rediscover the world through the eyes of the child,” continuing to live in wonder and awe. For me, ECD represents the heart of who I am; a combination of my love for fitness, movement, and my deep passion for education.”

FAQs
What makes the ECD Programme different from regular “kids’ exercise videos”?
Unlike general kids’ movement classes, the bounti ECD Programme is grounded in early childhood education principles and curated by a qualified Montessori educator. Each session doesn’t just “get kids moving”… It intentionally assists with growth, coordination, learning foundations and milestone development in a fun, structured and imaginative way!
What are the benefits of rebounding for kids?
Rebounding offers incredible benefits for growing bodies and developing brains. It boosts coordination, balance and posture, strengthens joints and muscles safely, and supports healthy lymphatic function and circulation. It’s also a powerful brain booster; promoting focus, learning readiness, emotional regulation and confidence. Rebounding helps kids move their bodies and develop sharper thinking skills, making it one of the most beneficial forms of exercise for little ones.

Do I need to supervise my child?
Absolutely. An adult should always be present to supervise and support children throughout each session, especially since the programme is designed around safe technique, guided exploration and equipment use. It becomes a wonderful bonding experience too!
Does my child need to follow the programme in order?
No, themes can be completed in any order. Kids naturally gravitate toward certain topics (dinosaurs, bugs, fairy gardens… we know!), so flexibility is built in. Your child’s journey can be guided by curiosity, while still following structured, purposeful movement.
In other words, the themes within the programme are not progressive, but there is progression in the workouts included under each theme. We recommend doing the workouts within each theme in order!
How long are the sessions?
Workout durations range from approximately 15-25 minutes, making them perfectly suited for young attention spans; short, engaging bursts of movement and learning.
While rebounding is a key part of the programme, your child won’t just be bouncing for the entire duration of the workout! Each session is thoughtfully structured to include a variety of activities that keep your child engaged, challenged, and learning. We mix bouncing with grounding exercises, stretches, games, coordination drills, and mindful moments, all designed to develop balance, focus, strength, and body awareness. Every class is carefully paced to ensure kids stay energised and entertained, without becoming overstimulated or fatigued.
What equipment will my child need?
Only the basics are required; a rebounder and a soft Pilates ball. Beyond that, most activities use common household items like soft toys, socks, teddy bears and small objects that make movement fun and familiar. A full "what you need" guide is included so you can plan ahead!
How many days a week should my child do the programme?
Consistency matters more than strict scheduling. 2 to 3 sessions per week is ideal, but even one curated session has huge benefits. Kids can also repeat favourite workouts as often as they like!
Can siblings or friends join in?
Absolutely; the programme is designed to be shared! If each child has their own rebounder, they can participate together and learn side-by-side. For shared sessions, children can take turns and still gain wonderful learning benefits.
Is this programme suitable for children with special learning or movement needs?
Yes, movement is a powerful developmental tool for children of various learning profiles. However, every child is unique. If your child has additional needs, consult your healthcare or educational professional for personalised guidance. The programme is supportive, gentle and adaptable.
Can my child re-do lessons?
Absolutely! In fact, repetition helps develop rhythm, strength, coordination, confidence and memory. Kids love becoming familiar with routines, and repeating sessions can deepen their learning and mastery.
Is this only available through the Life of bounti Subscription?
Yes, the ECD Programme is exclusively available within this subscription, giving your family access to a full ecosystem of movement options for all ages!
Do parents need fitness experience?
Not at all! Meg guides your little one every step of the way. You’ll simply be present to supervise, encourage and cheer them on. No fitness or teaching background needed!
Is this programme safe for my child?
Absolutely! Safety is a core pillar. Workouts are designed to support natural movement patterns and developmental milestones. Parents can also assist or supervise based on their child's age and comfort level.
What if my child has never used a rebounder before?
Perfect! This programme is intentionally designed for beginners. Children learn balance, confidence and stability gradually, in a controlled, guided way. Many parents love watching their child’s coordination and comfort on the rebounder grow week by week.
What skills will my child have developed by the end of this programme?
Your child will have gained a strong foundation of physical, cognitive, and emotional skills. They’ll enjoy improved coordination, balance, posture, rhythm, and spatial awareness, along with better focus, confidence, and self-regulation.
Beyond fitness, they’ll have built essential life skills: listening, following instructions, and perseverance. Most importantly, they’ll walk away with a healthy, positive relationship with movement and their own body!
When should my child do this programme?
It's fantastic during school holidays, but also ideal during school terms as a form of “extracurricular” activity. It's a great way to support movement, learning and mental stimulation after school, on weekends, or anytime little bodies have energy to burn and brains ready to explore!
