“I know looking at these photos it doesn't look like much has changed.

But by July after being in lockdown for almost 3 months my weight had skyrocketed to 90.1kg.

I weighed this much 9 months pregnant with my kids so I was desperately jn happy.

I do a lot of exercise, lead and aerobics class 2x a week and run every other morning up to 7kg, but being cooped up and going into the winter months just led to disaster, the kilos were piling on. One day I woke up and that was it, my body couldn't take it anymore. I wasn't sleeping well, none of my clothes fitted, I was struggling to breathe and I was grumpy and angry most of the time.

So on the 3rd July 2020 I decided it was time for a change. I started cutting out the bad food and habits I had started during lockdown. It took 2 months and I lost 10kg. In July I purchased my rebounder for myself for my birthday! And it was the best gift I could have bought for myself. Things started changing in my body on many different levels. I have lost another 6kg and started toning up. Pants that were tight around my legs and waist are now loose-fitting and fall down. Even my costume in the after photo was about to fall off!

My mindset, my mood and my energy have also all improved! I sleep like a log every night. I go to bed early and wake up early full of energy and excited to start my day. Each meal is an adventure and each rebounding session is an achievement.

I have learned things about myself after doing the Elimin8 challenge that I would have never known before.

I now know that I am gluten intolerant and that I don't always have to have some sort of meat on my plate to feel satisfied. 

I have cut caffeine out of my diet completely and that is a huge thing! I was literally living on up to 8 cups of tea a day plus a morning coffee. Now I love my herbal teas, especially rooibos and of course lots of water!

I can't begin to explain what this past 8 weeks has done for me. I get compliments daily from people telling me how great I look and although it's an external transformation it has come from within.

When I decided to purchase my rebounder in July for my birthday it was the best gift I could have given myself. Not only fun but I am bettering my health, mind and spirit with each and every jump!

So much so that I have had numerous friends asking me what I am doing and I have been able to tell them about Lisa Raleigh and I have had 2 of them buy a rebounder!!!

“I have always been a person that exercises by going to the gym, running, swimming etc. but have always struggled with my weight. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had the chemo and operation in Feb 2018, as a result of it my being unwell my fitness and weight suffered. Throughout my ordeal, I still trained as much as I could to try and stay fit. I decided that as a 57year old I needed to shift my focus and enrolled with HFPA to do a Diploma in Fitness so that when I finally get to retire to Cape Town I can bring health and fitness to the elderly, cancer patients or recovery patients in Fish Hoek where we plan to live. “I heard of Lisa Raleigh and rebounding about 2 years ago from a friend we even attended a rebounding workout class and had a couple of home sessions, at that time I didn't have my own rebounder and enjoyed running.

Then lockdown hit... it was cold winter and my work collided with the times allowed for exercise. I order a rebounder online and was using YouTube videos for a couple of months still not really committing to it all.

When I saw the Bounti 8 week challenge I knew it would get me going. From the get-go, my mind was set that I will finish this program and I did.

Early mornings came difficult followed by a full day of physical work, but as the weeks past everything became easier 30 min rebounding was easy, 5 am mornings was easy and workdays became shorter.

I loved doing the Elimin8 program. You learn so much from your body, what is good and bad for it. And surprisingly, my body loves fruits and vegetables. I'm actually cutting out most of my meat now. You feel so much cleaner and lighter.

“I started this journey at age 47 thinking “it’s now or never!” I have tried almost every form of exercise/diet plan and always ended up getting bored after a couple of months and then revert back to my old bad habits.

After completing the 8-week challenge I can honestly say I gave it my all and I am very proud of my achievements. Starting off with consuming the bentonite clay and husk mixture wondering how I was going to stomach that to actually reading the label correctly and realising it was the face mask one! To losing just over 7 kg’s, and feeling much healthier, full of energy, sleeping better and most importantly have a much better understanding of what foods work for me and my body type. "4 Months ago, I made the decision to change my life. I was disgusted with the way I looked, I always felt tired, bloated and I never stopped craving all sorts of unhealthy food and snacks.
